SmileHero combines a dedicated chip with a supportive app to help young people aged 8–18 follow removable appliance wear, understand their progress and bring a clearer history to dental appointments.
The routine happens between appointments.
A removable orthodontic appliance needs to be worn as instructed, but appointments can be weeks apart. Remembering exactly how much it was worn is difficult. SmileHero is being developed to make the daily routine easier to see and discuss.

- Parents and guardians can review the information together with the young user. Optional SMS reminders can be enabled when extra support is useful.

The user can show wear history, smile photos and personal notes directly to their dentist at an appointment. SmileHero has no separate professional portal, clinic account or automatic transfer of app data.
The dentist’s individual instructions always take priority over general targets shown in the app.

SmileHero is designed around an in-person, patient-controlled view. The user decides when to open the app and show the information during an appointment.
